David A. Clarke Law School


The project entailed complete interior demolition and buildout. The build out included Structural Raised Flooring, New Drywall Partitions, New ACT Ceiling Systems, Doors Frames & Hardware, Operable Partitions, Wall & Floor Finishes, Extensive Courtroom Millwork, installation of new MEP systems, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, voice/data systems, Audio Visual system, Access Control and Security System, and FF&E. The project was in an active educational facility and was completed on an extremely compressed schedule.

Glen Echo


The project was a historic restoration and complete renovation of several buildings at Glen Echo Park that was established in 1891. The scope of work included complete demolition and new construction of the new Yellow Barn facility with extensive concrete foundation / retaining walls, historic stone masonry reconstruction, vertical transportation, plumbing, fire sprinkler, mechanical, controls, electrical and fire alarm system work. The renovation of the Arcade Building included new roofing, new canopy and tower framing, storefronts, new mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler, electrical and fire alarm systems. The project also entailed rehabilitation of the Caretakers’ Cottage, First Aid Building, Crystal Pool,Candy Corner and demolition of the Bath Building.

Regency House - Green Roof


The contract was a design-build project that involved design of a complete green roof integral with a solar powered irrigation system. The construction included demolition of existing roofing, installation of a new roofing system, green vegetative assemblies, irrigation system, fencing, site furnishings and lighting on a high-rise senior building in Washington, DC. The project was a complete success and was proudly inaugurated by the Secretary of HUD, and the Mayor of Washington, DC.

UDC Plaza Deck


The project entailed the renovation of the University’s Plaza Deck and the main parking garage of the Van Ness Campus. The 92,000-s.f. Plaza Deck is located directly above an underground, 3-level, parking garage. The construction of the Plaza Deck included landscaping and hardscaping to provide an inviting, ADA accessible, pedestrian environment including a café area, seatwalls, LED pedestrian lighting, a new water fountain with sculpture, architectural stonework, rainwater re-use system, bioretention ponds, vegetative roof assemblies, and other decorative architectural features. The garage renovation included an automated garage gate, heated entrance and exit ramps, security cameras, upgrades to the ventilation system and repairs to pathways and driveways. Also included were demolition, grading, drainage upgrades, erosion control, signs, pavement marking, and lighting.

Engine Co. #28


The project was a historic restoration and comprehensive modernization of a 1916 fire station, Engine Co. # 28, located in Washington, DC; the project obtained LEED gold designation. The scope of work included a complete interior demolition and construction of new living quarters for firefighters and paramedics, major stone work and structural modifications to meet current emergency vehicle standards. This comprehensive modernization included the installation of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems and services, surveillance system, rain harvesting and green wall irrigation systems, a state-of-the-art fire and EMS communication system, and the construction of a multilevel parking structure.

Engine Co. #29


The project was a historic restoration and comprehensive modernization of a fire station, Engine Co. # 29, Washington, DC, the first post-World War 1 fire station built in the District of Columbia; the project obtained LEED gold designation. The scope of work included a complete interior demolition and construction of new living quarters for firefighters and paramedics, major retaining walls and drilled pier footings, structural modifications and a new addition to meet current fire station's living and emergency vehicle standards. This comprehensive modernization included the installation of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems and services, surveillance system, rain harvesting and green wall irrigation systems, and a state-of-the-art fire and EMS communication system.

Jay Narain

Principal

Jay, the founder of Consys, Inc., capitalizes on 32 years of experience in the construction industry and his military training to lead the business development efforts of the group, as well as to provide leadership for the construction team.

Vijay R. Kasimsetty

Principal

Vijay, a civil engineer with 28 years of experience in all facets of construction, oversees operations of the organization. Leveraging a MS in civil engineering with a specialization in construction management, he designed and implemented the quality assurance and quality control programs for Consys, Inc. As lead negotiator for the group, Vijay manages all client and stakeholder relationships.

Raj Shukla

Principal

Raj, a highly trained industrial and production engineer with 22 years of management experience in international trade and general construction, utilizes his vast knowledge and business acumen to lead the group’s project management teams as well as oversee the financial operations and resource management of the group.

Christopher A. Stennett, P.E.

Principal

Chris leads the development team - utilizing over 35 years of experience in the design, development, moderization and construction of residential and commercial real estate. His extensive experience includes not only transforming urban landscapes but fostering lasting relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Kristen Lerch-Kosin

Director of Development

Kristen utilizes her decade of experience in real state planning, development and management of projects in her role as Director of Development. She provides a unique understanding of real estate development, having managed all aspects of the planning, development and construction of urban residential real estate throughout the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
